Bye bye dear old Scarf

I ripped this old scarf. The first object I knitted for my dh. Too wide and too short and in use for so many years already. I had to promise dh to knit a new scarf with the same yarn (as if I don't have enough yarn in my stash!). Sentimental value...isn't he sweet?
